During the Summer of ’07 we had Maldini of BCUK through Muse to play a special All Bad Company Set. His performance was completely bananas and thankfully Erik Forssell was there to capture a couple golden moments- the intro and the last mix.

Earlier that evening, Circuit started things off, leading way for Gridlok to get inside our heads with the neurotic bass. All-in-all, the night was a 10/10.

Dust off memory lane because the caravan is smoking its way down the road! I had my 15 minutes (more like seconds) of fame a few years ago when I landed a gig for a Skechers commercial- Find Your Groove. The irony is my complete dislike for the brand ever since they came out with those thick-soled white monstrosities for girls, and, scratching is nowhere near my forte but was a requirement for the part. I faked it like a pro! The whole day I stood in a small Pasadena basement with the film crew focusing on me, no music, pretending to DJ. Surreal. I wasn’t sure how they were going to match up my “action” to their injected sound so I was a bit worried. Thankfully the editors did their job and made it seamless enough for the untrained eye.

Oh, and see that little creature in front of me at the end? I was instructed to “give props to the dog” while he lifted his head and wagged his tail. Embarrassing when you’re the only one fulfilling your role.
